Guitar Legend has 12 Notebook reassembly entries, ending with Cord and Back Panel. Those final two lines are easy to miss because they sit below the ten entries visible in a normal 720p view. Two public full-release videos independently show this device being rebuilt and completed.
Guitar Legend reassembly order
| Order | Part | Packuten value visible in dedicated video |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Front Panel | Not captured |
| 2 | Neck Front Casing | ¥9,170 |
| 3 | Strum Bar | ¥8,330 |
| 4 | Mainboard | Not captured |
| 5 | Buttons | ¥3,330 |
| 6 | Neck Circuit Board | ¥8,330 |
| 7 | Neck Back Casing | ¥9,170 |
| 8 | Menu Buttons | ¥1,670 |
| 9 | Control Board | ¥6,670 |
| 10 | Whammy Bar | Not captured |
| 11 | Cord | ¥5,000 |
| 12 | Back Panel | Not captured |
The eight readable Packuten rows add up to ¥51,340. That is only a verified subtotal. It is not the full replacement cost because the video does not expose publishable prices for Front Panel, Mainboard, Whammy Bar, and Back Panel.
The Notebook also displays PRICE: ¥90000 in the checked footage. This page does not treat that Notebook figure as a replacement-parts total or guaranteed profit. Use current values from your own save for any purchase decision.
The four pairs players can confuse
Buttons versus Menu Buttons
Buttons is the colored button set and appears at step 5. Menu Buttons is a separate white-button part at step 8. Owning one does not satisfy the other entry.
Mainboard versus Control Board
The orange Mainboard is step 4. The green Control Board is step 9. The narrow green Neck Circuit Board is a third board at step 6.
Strum Bar versus Whammy Bar
Strum Bar is step 3 and Whammy Bar is step 10. They have different Notebook icons and attachment points.
Neck casings versus body panels
Neck Front Casing and Neck Back Casing cover the long neck section. Front Panel and Back Panel belong to the main guitar body. The Back Panel is the final Notebook entry.
If Guitar Legend will not reach 12/12
- Confirm the Notebook expects 12/12, not ten parts.
- Scroll or read below
Whammy Barand check for Cord and Back Panel. - Make sure all three boards are present: Mainboard, Neck Circuit Board, and Control Board.
- Check Buttons and Menu Buttons separately.
- Confirm both neck casings and both main-body panels are available.
- If a part disappeared after cleaning, use the missing-part and Sonic Cleaner troubleshooting guide instead of repeatedly changing the order.
Firmware after patch 1.0.009r
The dedicated footage proves that Guitar Legend can be physically rebuilt to 12/12. It does not prove that an order requesting UPDATE FIRMWARE will complete.
The developers listed Guitar Legend firmware updating as a launch known issue, then included that bug among the fixes in official patch 1.0.009r. Update the game before retrying. If your physical repair is complete but Unlock-Toolkit still reports that updating is not possible for this device, use the Guitar Legend firmware troubleshooting page and record whether the order or save predates the patch. Buying a higher toolkit or rebuilding the guitar again was not a verified launch-build fix.
What is verified and what remains open
Verified from full-release video:
- the 12 named Notebook entries and their displayed order;
- Cord and Back Panel as entries 11 and 12;
- physical completion at 12/12 in the dedicated video;
- a second full-release longplay independently rebuilding the same device;
- eight dated Packuten price rows and their ¥51,340 subtotal.
Not independently verified:
- the four missing Packuten prices;
- permanent prices after later patches;
- license price, screw count, or guaranteed profit;
- independent recovery testing for every old save affected by the launch firmware failure;
- exact executable build numbers for either video.
Evidence note
The dedicated 4-minute video shows disassembly, the full Notebook list, a partial Packuten list, and reassembly to 12/12. The longer no-commentary playthrough shows another Guitar Legend repair around 08:57:20–08:59:20. Local OCR was used only to locate candidate frames; names, counts, and prices on this page were checked against the visible frames.
The community Wiki was searched through its public MediaWiki API on August 11 and returned no Guitar Legend page or search hit. No Wiki prose, screenshots, or game art are reproduced here.
Official Firmware status checked: August 12, 2026. Assembly and price evidence remains the dated launch-window video snapshot described above.
