ReStory XI-box Repair Guide

Follow the checked 14-part ReStory XI-box assembly order, distinguish its two Front Panels, and verify a dated ¥90,000 Packuten parts total.

The XI-box has 14 reassembly entries, and two different components are both called Front Panel. That duplicate name is the main trap. Use the step number, price row, and the in-game part image together rather than assuming the two rows are interchangeable.

XI-box reassembly order

1Back Panel¥10,930

3Right Ports¥4,500
4Left Ports¥4,500

6Power Unit¥10,290

9DVD Cable¥2,890

12Hard Drive Cable¥2,890
13Ribbon Cable¥2,250

Recorded total: ¥90,000.

The arithmetic matches the total displayed by the current community table, but the values above were also read from the Packuten rows in the checked full-release footage.

How to tell the two Front Panels apart

ReStory’s English UI does not give the two parts unique names. ReStory Help therefore keeps the exact displayed name rather than inventing labels that could send you to the wrong Marketplace row.

  • The first Front Panel is step 10 and appears as ¥5,140 in the checked Packuten snapshot.
  • The second Front Panel is step 14, closes the sequence, and appears as ¥10,930.
  • Before buying, compare the small part image in Packuten with the image beside the matching Notebook entry.

Prices may change, so the image and step position remain important even if your current build no longer shows the same yen values.

If XI-box reassembly is stuck

Work through these checks before treating the order as bugged:

  1. Confirm that the Notebook expects 14/14, not 13 parts.
  2. Check that Right Ports and Left Ports are both present.
  3. Keep Motherboard Cable, DVD Cable, Hard Drive Cable, and Ribbon Cable as four separate entries.
  4. Confirm that you have both visually different Front Panel parts.
  5. Install the ¥5,140 snapshot row at step 10 and the ¥10,930 snapshot row last, using the images to confirm the match.

For a component that has disappeared from the bench, use the cleaning and missing-part troubleshooting guide. Reordering cannot substitute for a missing cable or panel.

What is verified and what remains open

Verified in the recorded full-release windows:

  • the 14 named reassembly entries and their order;
  • the presence of two distinct Front Panel rows;
  • all 14 recorded Packuten values;
  • the ¥90,000 arithmetic total for that snapshot;
  • successful completion at 14/14 in the checked sequence.

Not independently verified in this review:

  • permanent prices after later patches;
  • sale value;
  • license price;
  • screw count;
  • guaranteed repair or resale profit.

For a purchase decision, enter the current values from your own save into the parts and profit calculator.

Evidence note

The source is a public, no-commentary full playthrough uploaded during the release window. The exact executable build number is not visible. OCR was used only to find candidate scenes; continuous assembly and Packuten frames were then reviewed manually. The current community Wiki entry was used for conflict checking, not as the only source.

No Wiki prose, screenshots, or game art are reproduced here.
